Tesa CEO Elon Musk isn’t a guy who puts up with much nonsense. He’s spoken out against progressive overreach before and he’s doing so again now that Big Tech is cracking down on conservatives and banning anyone off social media who’s to the right of Karl Marx.
Now that Parler has also been kicked off Amazon, Apple and Google servers there’s a smaller and smaller amount of options for conservatives who want to network and talk online.
It’s no mistake that Musk packed up and left the leftist state of California recently, moving to Texas. And it’s no mistake that he’s building a giant new Tesla factory in Texas and bases his SpaceX exploration company there as well.
Tweeting on Jan. 11 Musk said that many people are not going to like what’s coming as Big Tech censorship gets worse.

Musk Gets It
Now and then Musk has posted memes and tweeted out things that shows that he gets it. He mocked Karl Marx last summer with a picture saying Marx’s philosophy basically boils down to “gib me dat for free” and he’s posted in the past about “taking the red pill.”
He left California due to COVID closures of his Fremont, CA factory by progressive Governor Gavin Newsom who expects everyone else to stick to the quarantine rules while he goes out mask-less to fancy wine bars.
Musk is having none of it.
Twitter banned President Trump’s account on Jan. 8 saying it was a risk of inciting violence.
“After close review of recent Tweets from the @realDonaldTrump account and the context around them — specifically how they are being received and interpreted on and off Twitter — we have permanently suspended the account due to the risk of further incitement of violence,” Twitter announced, adding that “in the context of horrific events this week, we made it clear on Wednesday that additional violations of the Twitter Rules would potentially result in this very course of action. Our public interest framework exists to enable the public to hear from elected officials and world leaders directly. It is built on a principle that the people have a right to hold power to account in the open.”
Then Amazon and Google kicked Parler off their app stores, with Amazon Web Services servers saying that Parler was “violating AWS’s terms of services by failing to effectively deal with a steady increase in violent content.”
Parler sued Amazon on Monday saying that the service unfairly terminated their multi-year contract.
According to Parler, “AWS’s decision to effectively terminate Parler’s account is apparently motivated by political animus. It is also apparently designed to reduce competition in the microblogging services market to the benefit of Twitter. Thus, AWS is violating Section 1 of the Sherman Antitrust Act in combination with Defendant Twitter,” Parler said.
“AWS is also breaching its contract with Parler, which requires AWS to provide Parler with a thirty-day notice before terminating service, rather than the less than thirty-hour notice AWS actually provided. Finally, AWS is committing intentional interference with prospective economic advantage given the millions of users expected to sign up in the near future.”
If Musk is right then the kind of censorship that Trump supporters, Parler and others are facing is coming to everyone sooner or later. He knows what he’s talking about and all the warning signs are here that things aren’t going to get any more free or fair in the coming months.
The solution may be sites like Gab or Whatsapp groups if you want to chat with fellow conservatives, but at this point things do not look optimistic.
