The midterm elections are going to run their course, come this Tuesday. Thus far, Republicans are leading in polls and connecting with voters on policy issues that are top of mind.
Democrats, on the other hand, are struggling. They’re mostly relying on attacking and demonizing Republicans in the hopes this will scare Americans into voting blue.
However, despite left-wing fearmongering, Americans are very much familiar with the policies that stem from left-wing leadership. These policies are not good and they’re a direct cause behind the problems so many folks face today.
Now, California Gov. Gavin Newsom is warning that his party is going to be facing a “red wave” next week, according to Breitbart News.
Newsom on the Incoming Red Wave
During a CBS News interview, Newsom concluded the red wave coming next week is palpable. In making this admission, the Democratic governor of California also admitted Republicans are besting Democrats in the arena of messaging.
Despite making these admissions, Newsom failed to mention policy issues where his party has repeatedly dropped the ball. Foreign policy, the economy, and crime are just a few of several examples.

Later during the interview, the California governor admitted that he is scared of House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy becoming House Speaker. Though this is the likeliest outcome if Republicans regain control of the House of Representatives.
Finally, before his time on CBS News wrapped up, Newsom once again shot down any talk about him running for president. The California governor even went so far as to say it’s safe to assume he’ll “never” be running for the White House.
Time will tell.
Turning Over a New Leaf
For over one year, Democrats had their chance to handle congressional majorities responsibly. Suffice it to say, Democrats have not done this. Instead, they’ve opted to use their power to force through spending bills that severely wounded the economy.
Even now, Democrats are campaigning on more of the same failed policies, rather than putting forward solutions to lower inflation and solve other real problems.

Republicans are offering the opportunity of a new leaf and of healing from much damage that has been done by Democrats.
Between overall public sentiment and the polls projecting GOP wins, it is not hard to see why even Newsom can admit that a red wave is on its way in a matter of days.
The congressional leadership this country has been forced to endure since January 2021 cannot go on as is.
