The second impeachment wasn’t enough for the Democrats. After failing to prove that Trump incited violence in the Jan. 6 Capitol protests and riot, they are know moving ahead with a 9/11 style commission to investigate the day even further.
CNN can get more ratings hyping up the fear and distrust, and President Biden will be even further away from his goal of “unity.” Sounds logical, right? It actually is when you consider that the goal of progressives is not unity or cooperation but forcing their agenda down the throat of every American whether they like it or not.
Nancy Pelosi announced the commission recently, writing that “we must get to the truth of how this happened.”
According to Pelosi, “to protect our security, our security, our security, our next step will be to establish an outside, independent 9/11-type Commission.”
A Permanent State of Emergency
Just like the National Guard troops outside the Capitol will reportedly be there until the end of the year, and the COVID crisis will keep continuing despite vaccinations, what happened on Jan. 6 will never end in the Democratic imagination and playbook.
This will keep getting replayed until random guys in MAGA beanies become as familiar to you as your own face. The Democrats have only one trick and they perform it over and over like a tired old magician who stopped bothering to practice.
They simply come up with a scaremongering attack (racist, sexist, gun crazy, anti-poor, anti-gay) and repeat it over and over and over and over. They then pretend to care about individual rights and people’s hurt feelings in order to use victims to advance their agenda and make it impossible for conservatives to defend themselves. Instead of using logic, Democrats simply descend to the lowest level of baiting and emotional manipulation over and over.
“What, you don’t care about this poor victim of gun violence? You must like school shootings.”
“What you don’t want more investigation into the Jan. 6 protests? You must be a white nationalist crazy person who hates our country.”
You see how this script goes? It’s as predictable as it is cynical and to say it’s tearing the country apart would be an understatement.

Tuning Out
The truth is that most people have tuned out by now. They didn’t care about the bogus second impeachment – which failed badly in the Senate by a 57-43 vote despite the prosecution faking evidence and lying like crazy – and they don’t care about this stunt either. But the fact that an entire expensive commission will be convened just to find out what meme Jimmy from Nevada sent to his friend on Jan. 4 is absolutely insane.
According to Pelosi, this commission is going to “investigate and report on the facts and causes relating to the January 6, 2021 domestic terrorist attack upon the United States Capitol Complex.”
See how they bring out the word “domestic terrorist” here? You’d be correct in guessing this now applies to everyone at the protest, not just those who did violence or were armed. After lying about how Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick died and completely memory-holing the fact that Trump supporter Ashli Babbit was shot dead while unarmed, the Democrats and their media allies now want to gaslight you into thinking that mostly unarmed protesters smashing a few windows are “domestic terrorists.”
Remember when the Democrats said that about Antifa lighting up the Portland courthouse every night? Me neither.
If anything, Pelosi herself deserves some spotlight on her. Why wasn’t the Capitol more protected after repeated warnings that large protests were planned during one of the tensest elections in years? Pelosi said the question is a distraction and told Republicans who want to know why she did nothing to protect the Capitol that they’re just trying to “deflect responsibility for the Capitol attack from Donald Trump.”
