We all know that the lockdowns during this COVID disaster destroyed many small businesses.
We also know there is no demonstrable proof of lives saved by these communist measures. In fact, a report from the National Academies of Science shows that lockdowns are not proven to have saved anyone.
What the lockdowns have done is crush dreams and finances like a steamroller; lockdowns also drove businesses into the ground and created millions of Americans dependent on Democrat big government handouts.
New information is now out about just how bad the impact has been on small business and it’s even worse than anyone imagined.
40% of Small Businesses Destroyed by COVID Lockdowns
New analysis shows that around 40% of all small businesses in this country have collapsed as a result of pandemic slowdown, lockdowns and restrictions. Specifically, 38.9% of small businesses went under.
The big box stores like Wal-Mart and Costco as well as giant online retailers thrived. They grew massive profits while the family-run businesses (that have always been the backbone of this country) were left to rot and die by our despicable socialist Democrat government.
The large chains who donate to Democrats were deemed “essential,” while retailers and restaurants run by American workers were abandoned like trash by our traitorous ruling class.
It’s no exaggeration to say that this is one of the biggest outrages in American history.

Giant multinational, anti-American woke corporations were allowed to stomp all over people ordered to stay home and close their businesses; these people are now having to go to the government for handouts.
There was no reason small businesses should not have been allowed to stay open.
The worst cases were in hospitality, such as restaurants and hotels. This is especially true in states that rely a lot on hospitality (like New York, Oregon, Washington, California) and many blue states which were decimated.
While people like Washington Governor Jay Inslee were bumbling around at Black Lives Matter protests last summer (and telling people they had to stay indoors and socially distance), small businesses across the state were literally closing forever.
The Blue State Curse
People have been fleeing blue states (and even purple states) to get to places that are more red. Not all of them are even necessarily conservatives: many just want to be free to run a business, not wear a mask everywhere or be forced to stay inside for no reason.

Small businesses who have less than 500 employees are the vast majority of businesses in this country and provide three-quarters of our jobs. The fact that almost 40% have gone under during lockdowns is horrific!
The Democrats and their Chinese friends have many, many questions to answer.
