The rising price of gas has been very hard on many Americans. Especially in places like California, prices are ranging up to $6 per gallon; the economic headache is getting worse by the day.
Now, new information is out about the average amount that Americans are spending on gas; it’s almost double what it was one year ago.
Unless Joe Biden and the Democrats find a way to start turning this situation around, the upcoming midterm elections are going to be a landslide victory for conservatives and the GOP.

Yardeni Research is a leading research firm that went to work on calculating how much American households are spending on gas. What they found is shocking!
This year, American families or households are paying out an average of $5,000 per year for gas. Last year, they were paying out an average of $2,800 per year.
We’re currently experiencing an average of $4.59 per gallon. That means there are places in this country much higher than that. Even those just trying to drive a short distance to work or do things around town are getting absolutely slammed at the pumps.
The thing is consumer spending is still way up. Analysts say is because people spend a lot even when they’re feeling down. Sales for retail were up 8% in April of this year, compared to April of 2021.
However, nobody should be getting too optimistic.

The Truth About Gas Prices
Biden is doing nothing to fight these monster gas prices. The only thing his administration has said they will do is get stricter on gas stations that price gouge. That’s going to make a minor difference at most.
It’s the same as when we hear the left saying they will fight inflation by increasing taxes on the wealthy. It’s a complete red herring with no basis in truth. The two issues are completely unconnected.
The left thinks people are stupid and will get distracted by fake, feel-good solutions. Though now as the midterms approach, any goodwill that centrist and mainstream liberal voters had is beginning to wear thin.
There’s a good reason for that, considering Biden gutted our energy industry, axed Keystone XL, and worked day and night to try to force Americans to “go green.”
He may be trying to blame Vladimir Putin and say this has nothing to do with his policies, but we all know that’s a flat-out lie.

The Bottom Line
At this point, driving has become a luxury. We’re told by Biden people that it means we should buy costly electric vehicles or drive less.
What it actually means is that we should vote these bums out when we have a chance. They are not on our side.
