Former President Donald Trump mocked Republican Governor Glenn Youngkin, a potential competitor in the 2024 presidential election.
Trump has a habit of calling his political rivals names, as he did the same in his 2016 and 2020 presidential campaigns. Meanwhile, many prominent Republicans allegedly do not support Trump in his reelection efforts.
Trump Continues Mocking His 2024 Presidential Competitor
On his own social media platform, Truth Social, Trump asserted that Youngkin’s name sounds like a Chinese name. The former president spelled Youngkin’s name like a Republican congresswoman from California, “Young Kim,” who is of South Korean origin.
According to Trump, Youngkin would not have won his gubernatorial election without his support. Furthermore, the former president claimed he mobilized the MAGA voters to vote for Youngkin, adding that he would not come even closer to winning otherwise.
Trump mocked Youngkin days after the announcement of Virginia Lt. Gov Winsome Sears, who revealed she would not support Trump in the 2024 presidential election.

Meanwhile, Youngkin responded to Trump’s comments with a rather cool mind.
The Virginia governor claimed he does not call people names, as he is trying to bring people close to each other. Youngkin also established he does not like to misbehave with other people.

Trump previously labeled former competitors “Low Energy Jeb” and “Little Marco”
This is not the first time Trump is mocking his competitors within the Republican Party.
In his 2016 election campaign, Trump labeled Senator Marco Rubio as “Little Marco” and called former Florida Governor Jeb Bush “Low Energy Jeb.” Rubio and Bush competed against Trump in the 2016 Republican presidential primaries.
Just days before the midterm elections, Trump also aimed at his biggest Republican rival, Ron DeSantis. DeSantis, who is likely to give tough competition to Trump in the 2024 Republican primaries, got the nickname “Ron DeSanctimonious” from the former president.
Trump established that he is getting the support of 71% of Republican voters for the 2024 presidential elections, while “Ron DeSanctimonious” has the backing of only 10% of voters.
In addition to that, Trump stated that Mike Pence has the support of 7% of voters and Liz Cheney is backed by only 4% of Republicans. However, many Republicans slammed Trump for lashing out at DeSantis just days before the midterm elections.
For a long time, Donald Trump has teased about whether or not he will be running for the White House again. Now, Trump is expected to announce his presidential run on November 15.
