Conservative readers already know the basic truth about gun control. When you outlaw guns, only outlaws have guns.
It’s simple and it’s true.
On many issues we can see how there are different sides and experiences that lead to different beliefs.
But for gun control it’s obvious that the left is pulling the wool over people’s eyes, advancing a dishonest narrative about how cracking down on law-abiding gun owners will somehow reduce crime or stop mass shootings.
The truth is the opposite.
And Tucker Carlson just exposed the full horror of the Democrat’s gun control agenda on his show.
Guns Cause Violence? What a Stupid Claim
As Tucker said on his show, the main claim behind gun control is, simply, completely bogus.
“Gun control is entirely fraudulent. The Democratic Party claims that guns cause violence. That’s the core claim, and it is a lie. It’s provably untrue. The places in this country that have the most guns and the loosest controls on those guns also have the least gun violence and the fewest killings. That’s the bottom line.
You could look it up; the statistics are available to anyone. Anyone who tries to restrict your legally owned firearms is not trying to make America safer,” Tucker said.
As Tucker went on to point out, the purpose of gun control is to control you, not to control guns.
“It’s not about guns, it’s about who runs the country,” he said.
In a recent speech demanding more gun control on Thursday, Joe Biden lied multiple times about many subjects. He’s also going to be putting gun control extremist David Chipman in charge of the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) which is a nightmare for those who enjoy their Second Amendment rights.
Chipman serves on the board of a gun control advocacy group and has said insane lies in the past justifying the mass murder at Waco and other statements that are truly anti-American.
Luckily it’s not going to be easy to confirm Chipman in a 50-50 Senate, but it’s still an alarming appointment, which makes Tucker’s monologue all the more timely.

Biden’s Phony Gun Control Lies
In his recent speech, Biden had the nerve to even lie about his intentions. He claims his actions won’t cut in on the Second Amendment.
“Nothing I’m about to recommend in any way impinges on the Second Amendment. There are phony arguments suggesting that these are Second Amendment rights at stake, for what we’re talking about. But no amendment, no amendment to the Constitution is absolute,” Biden said.
Newsflash: he’s wrong. Yes it is absolute.
Tucker explained how the lies add up about gun violence, especially when it comes to “assault weapons.”
“You might know them as semiautomatic, small-caliber sporting rifles that normal people use for hunting and target shooting and home defense. Here’s the thing: No subject is more carefully cataloged than gun violence. Guns like these so-called “weapons of war” play no meaningful role in crime. Virtually all gun murders in this country are committed with handguns (again, don’t take our word for it, you can look this up). A small number of people are responsible for most of the violence and they use a small variety of weapons to commit it (again, you can look this up),” Tucker explains.
In fact, firearms were involved in a total of 10,258 homicides in 2019, the last year for which data is available. Fewer than 500 out of more than 10,000 of those homicides were committed with rifles, including so-called “weapons of war.”
This is not to mention how state governments from Illinois to California are trying to lessen charges for criminals who do violence with guns.
So, if gun control isn’t about keeping us safer what is it about?
Tucker hit the nail on the head:
“They’re not worried about gun crime. They’re worried about you protecting yourself, and not just in Chicago. Across the country, criminals who commit violence with guns are going free. Murder rates are hitting record levels. Meanwhile, you haven’t hurt anyone. You haven’t done anything wrong. But suddenly, Hunter Biden has a fat book contract from Simon & Schuster, and you’re a felon for trying to defend your home. You can see what’s going on here. Again, they’re not trying to control guns. They’re trying to control you.”
