FDA Silenced Its Own Safety Expert

In March 2021, Dr. Ana Szarfman, an FDA safety analyst, discovered a critical flaw in the agency’s vaccine monitoring system that masked danger signals. When she applied a corrected method, she found 49 examples of severe adverse events including Bell’s palsy, cardiac failure, stroke, and sudden cardiac death.
